 MECHANISM OF ACTION
It is an antiseptic pomade which contains 10% ichthammol. Ichthammol is a mixture of a substance acquired from the bituminous schist minerals or layers, sulphonic acids, ammonium salts, ammonium sulphate and water.
In dermatology, it is applied for the treatment of chronic inflammations as a local antiseptic and because of its irritant aspect and by other antiseptics it helps for the treatment of chronic skin disorders (for example: eczema, psoriasis and acne).
After washing the application area thoroughly, the pomade is applied to the scar two times a day and is covered by a gauze bandage. (In order not to obstruct the air circulation, do not cover tightly).
It must not be used for individuals who has an hypersensitivity to one of the substances within the product.
- It must not contact with eyes and mucosa.
- Hands must be washed thoroughly after application.
 SIDE EFFECTS
- If the medication is not effective within 10 days, consult your doctor.
- Do not apply the pomade to wide areas without prior proposal of the doctor.
